The bee's are midway through the winter now. My bee's were fed with fondant this month. Its been quite cold this winter, which makes a change. The year has passed without event. Bee's are a necessary insect worldwide, akin to Sharks who actually manage our Oceans being the apex predator. Last month I used all the left over honey from this season to make Mead. I hope to hold onto this Mead until next year. If you have never tried Mead, which hailed from ancient times, usually brewed by Monks, maybe you should try some. Its sweet and delicious, and obviously environmentally balanced, as it has to be made from honey.
